Why should I buy on Winestock.com?

Our enthusiastic and passionate community enjoys a love of collecting and sharing wine and spirits. The unique elements of a wine’s DNA—from the weather to the soil content, from the vintner to how long it ages—influence its scarcity and, consequently, buyer demand. Winestock.com buyers have access to the largest inventory of old and new wines, spirits and related accessories in the U.S. When searching for those hard-to-find vintage and non-vintage wines, limited availability spirits, and special deals, they are able to connect with sellers eager to market and sell their private collections.

What is the process for auctions/selling on Winestock.com?

See our Sell Process [link to image]. All purchases and auctions, including buy now, require site registration on Winestock.com. Sellers upload the image and product details of their bottles, cases or accessories to the site using our online form. They also set payment and shipping preferences, configure the auction, set a reserve price and auction duration, and any other specifics they wish. When setup is complete, the product is searchable by visitors and buyers for purchase.

Upon conclusion of a sale, the buyer and seller will each receive an automated email including contact details in order to arrange shipping, tracking, etc.

What is the process for buying on Winestock.com?

See our Buy Process [link to image]. All purchases and auctions, including buy now, require site registration on Winestock.com. All registered site users are able to browse and search wine, spirits, and accessories uploaded to Winestock.com. Buyers will bid on auctions using real-time or select the Buy Now option for the immediate purchase of a posted product. All bids are binding and cannot be canceled or retracted. When the auction ends or buy now is selected, the buyer will pay using the seller’s preferred method, as described in the posting.

How does Winestock.com’s purchasing platform work?

All sellers have the option of using our built-in purchasing platform. Winestock.com uses Stripe, a powerful and flexible online payment platform, allowing buyers to easily pay for their purchases, and to ensure that sellers smoothly receive payment for their goods. Stripe provides technical support, fraud prevention, and the highest levels of online payment processing security. With Stripe, U.S. users can use most types of credit or debit cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB, Discover, and Diners Club.

How can I get shipping/delivery details?

All shipping and delivery details are arranged between the seller and the buyer directly including preferred method, shipping costs, tracking, and recourse for any packages that arrive broken or damaged.

Fees/payment amounts

Buyers do not pay any fees for purchasing on Winestock.com. Sellers are charged a low fee by Winestock.com if their item(s) sell in our marketplace. Fees are calculated based on the final sale price of the auction or buy now price: 5% on the purchase price up to $50, and 3% on the purchase price of sales over $50.

Am I able to buy/sell internationally on Winestock.com?

Not at this time. Our goal is to first build our community of users within the U.S., connecting sellers of sought-after merchandise with buyers who are ready to purchase.
